Sending Thanks
Every day I am grateful for so many things. Having the opportunity to run my own stamping and paper crafting business is one of the things I am very grateful for. It allows me to make new friends, craft with some amazing people and create beautiful cards and projects to send and share with others to brighten their day.
I have been making some Thank You cards. These will go various places, to thank people for their orders from my online store, for kind things they have done for me, or sent to me, or just to let them know I am grateful for their friendship. Sending happy mail makes my day better, and I know when we receive happy mail it puts a smile on our face.
These cards use the same supplies (except for one sentiment tag!) so you can make a bunch of them easily with your favourite Designer Series Paper. I have used the You’re A Peach DSP for my cards today. The stamp set is Dragonfly Garden, and I punched the Dragonflies with the Dragonflies Punch. I love stamp and punch bundles. They make creating pretty cut images quick and easy (no fussy cutting!!) and when you purchase the stamp set and punch together as a bundle you save 10%. Gotta love a good deal on crafting supplies!
Here is how I made these cards.
Card Base - Pear Pizzazz, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Calypso Coral cardstock - 5 x 3 3/4
DSP - 4 7/8 x 3 5/8
Ink - Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz
Calypso Coral cardstock punched with Rectangular Postage Stamp or Everyday Label
Basic White - for sentiment, punched with Tailored Tag or Double Oval
Embellishment - Genial Gems
The top dragon fly is adhered flat to the DSP, the lower one is adhered with Dimensionals. The sentiment is adhered flat to the frame, and the whole piece is added to the DSP with Dimensionals.
