Simple Stamping . . . Just Because
If you are a card maker, you likely find that sometimes you want to make a really fancy card. Lots of stamping and embellishments, some die cuts, maybe some colouring, fancy, fancy, fancy. Sometimes you just need a really quick card that is still eye catching, but quick to pull together for someone special. And sometimes you are somewhere in the middle!! All handmade cards are beautiful and show the love you put into them, they are just different. Today we are keeping it quick and easy with some simple stamping, but still creating a beautiful card.
I started with a piece of Very Vanilla card stock, cut 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. I used two of the abstract stamps from the Painted Poppies stamp set, stamping the larger one with Petal Pink ink, and the smaller one with Grapefruit Grove ink. I stamped the poppies and sentiment in Memento Black ink. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I mounted that on a Grapefruit Grove card base, cut 4 1/4 inches by 11 inches and scored in the middle at 5 1/2 inches.
This card is so pretty, and ready to send to someone . . . Just Because.
