Simple Snowman Stamping

We have had our first snowfall of the season, and although it was just a bit, and melted over the next couple days, it did make me start thinking of snowmen. I didn’t build one outside, but I did build a card with one!

This card is easy to make with some #simplestamping yet the background looks kind of fancy. I love showing how to make cards that don’t look plain using just a few supplies - perfect for new stampers, (or any of us!)
To make my background, I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock, cut 3 3/4 x 5 inches. I then used one of my clear blocks as my stamp, tapping it in my Balmy Blue ink, and stamping it on my cardstock. It gives a textured sort of look to the paper, and adds extra interest.

After I made my background, I used the Snowman Season stamp set and Misty Moonlight ink to stamp my fun snowman, along with some snowflakes. My sentiment is from the same set.
I mounted this on a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock cut 4 x 5 1/4 inches, then a Balmy Blue cardbase, cut 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 inches and folded in half.
The finishing touches on my card are some Snowflake Sequins I added with dots of glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

This card is super cute and was fun and easy to make. Let’s all make fun snowmen cards with #simplestamping!
