Girls Get Away Weekend

Our Girls Get Away Weekend is this weekend. A whole weekend of girlfriends, crafting, fun, great food, not enough sleep!! and so much more. When I host these weekends I always provide some card making tutorials, so I have been creating and preparing for that. Here is one of the cards we will make.

I designed this card by CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) a card from the Global Design Project challenge. Here is the banner and the card.

I thought this was a fun layout for my card, and used the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and coordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack. I layered my ornaments on some of the beautiful Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is gorgeous DSP with copper foil accents. I stamped my ornaments with the new Celestial Copper Ink available in the Holiday catalogue. I love the shimmer these ink pads give to your stamping. My Night of Navy backdrop is embossed with the Tin Tile embossing folder, then layered on a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock. My card base is Very Vanilla Thick card stock. I hung my ornaments with Linen Thread.
