My Box of Bits
As a crafter of any type, we end up with left over bits, projects half done, and pieces we were going to use in a project, but changed things up and did not. In one of my posts I mentioned I had gathered up all those bits and pieces to make them into cards. You can see that post here. While I did use some bits at my last Girls Get Away Weekend, I still have lots of goodies in my box, so I’m going to try to pull some out on a regular basis and make them into something! Here is one of those cards, using something from my Box of Bits.
I had stamped this tree from the Rooted in Nature set in Garden Green but didn’t end up using it. I decided to cut it out with the Layering Ovals, and a bigger oval in Garden Green. I decided to keep my colours and card quite neutral, giving a masculine tone to the card. I mounted it on Basic Black, added a little more Garden Green and used Daffodil Delight for the card base. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays stamped in Garden Green on Whisper White. I cut banner ends on my strip, and mounted it with Dimensionals. This clean card was easy to make since some of the work was already done!
