Crafty Connie Strikes Again!

Hi Stamping and Crafting Friends,
I have been busy creating and crafting and want to share some projects that you will see more details on in upcoming blog posts, classes and tutorials. These projects feature and celebrate our gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP)

As you can see, there are lots of fantastic projects here that are sure to keep you crafting this fall. Let’s get started.

First to get organized! If you search Pinterest, you will find there are lots of desk organizers out there. The first one I saw was from Pootles, a UK Demonstrator. While mine is inspired by her, this is my version, with containers that meet my needs. I wanted mine to hold all the tools I use most, so I included a holder for my Tombow glue. I used the amazingly stunning Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper for some of my boxes. This paper is so heavy it is perfect for 3D projects like this. A cute bow tied around the base using the new 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon completes the look.

What a cute way to keep my tools handy and decorate my desk.

We always need birthday cards, and this one shows off some of our beautiful Garden Impressions 6 x 6 DSP. The colours are bright and bold and the patterns include lots of pretty flowers and textures. I have used one of the smaller patterns to show off my dragon flies.

I love the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. This paper includes some card front sized sections, and a full page of beautifully detailed flowers that can be cut to any size you like to create a back drop, or accents for some amazingly detailed cards. This paper is Very Vanilla on one side, and Whisper White on the other . . . perfect for colouring any way you like! I used sponge daubers to add Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow to my leaves to create a beautiful vine for my flowers to grow on. Watch for an upcoming post to see more ways to create with the ‘negative’ of the sponging. I love the new purples, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather in our refreshed colour palette, and how they pop with the new Granny Apple Green.

This project is a handy magnetic note pad. These would make fantastic gifts for teachers, coaches, or anyone else you want to thank as we approach the holiday season. I used products from the Tropical Escape Suite to make these. I love how the Tropical Thinlits Dies can be used to cut the stamped images from the Tropical Chic stamp set, as well as some of the images from the Tropical Escape 6 x 6 DSP.

These happy colours are sure to brighten your kitchen and make you smile.

It is time to start thinking about Christmas cards and projects. This card is easy to make and shows off some of the Under The Mistletoe DSP. There are a few patterns in the pack that would work really well with this layout, and you can start on these right now as this DSP is available in the Annual Catalogue. There are also some great plaid pieces in this pack that I love for homey, cozy Christmas cards. This paper will pair beautifully with some of the new stamp sets coming in the Holiday catalogue that will go live in September. You have to check it out!

Watch my blog and classes for more details on these projects and lots of other great ideas that will have you stamping and creating beautiful hand made items this fall.

Happy Stamping Hugs,

Connie
