Easy Layout - Stay Simple or Step It Up
Today I have another easy layout for you to make some quick and cute cards. I also have a card that is the same layout, but stepped up with more layers and embossing.
We started with just a few pieces of cardstock and patterned paper to create a pretty card to celebrate a birthday.
It is not a secret, as I have mentioned before that I do not like the colour Petal Pink in our colour palette. Today however I am using a piece of Designer Series Paper (yes, it is Petal Pink) that coordinates with my Peach Pie card base. I think my biggest problem with Petal Pink cardstock is the name. To me it is not pink. When I look at it as a peach tone, I like it much better. Go figure!
This card is easy to create, and so pretty, anyone would feel special to receive it.
I also promised to share a more “stepped up” version of this same layout.
This pretty patterned paper is the Mediterranean Blooms DSP. I love the bright happy colours and images, it makes me smile! I layered each piece this time, and added a background layer in Lemon Lolly that is embossed with the So Swirly EF.
Do you feel inspired to create an easy card, or a more stepped up version?
