A Fun Layout for Mystery Stamping
We always have lots of fun and great crafting at our Mystery Stamping events, and the July event was no different.
We had a relatively simple layout for our pieces, but as we each crafted following the clues we saw that there were lots of ways to assemble those pieces, leading to very different cards as an end result.
Here was our first clue.
CLUE #1 – Gather the following
This will work as a portrait or landscape card
Cardstock – 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 ¼
Cardstock - 5 x 3 ¾
Cardstock or Patterned Paper – 4 ¾ x 3 ½
Cardstock or Patterned Paper – ½ “ strip (x3) You can mix and match cardstock and patterned paper if you like
Basic White cardstock – 1 ¾ circle
Cardstock – 2 circle
Optional – die cut interest element
Stamps, ink, adhesive, embellishments
As the creator of this Mystery Stamping event, this was my original intent, but you could assemble the pieces in so many ways, this is just one example.
He is a different example with the same base pieces, but this card is landscape, and the stripes g straight up and down.
A second example, but certainly not the last. You can let your imagination go wild and mix and match pieces to create many different cards using the same basic pieces. The beauty of our craft!
