Quick & Easy or Step It Up

For Connie’s Craft Along this week we started with an easy layout that is great for making a quick and lovely card. I also promised to share a version that stepped it up a bit more.

Here are the pieces we started with.

I used the Country Lace Designer Series Paper for these cards, cutting banner ends on the denim piece.

There are lots of ways to “step up” a card, but we kept this one relatively easy, and just adjusted some of our sizing to add extra layers, including an backdrop layer embossed with the Eyelet 3d Embossing Folder that coordinates beautifully with this DSP.
