Connie's Craft Along - Made With Scraps!

We all have lots of scraps. Those beautiful little pieces of Designer Series Paper or pretty colours of cardstock that are just too big to throw out, but not quite big enough for some of our projects.

That is why I always look for and love to share great cards that use our scraps. Today I have another idea for you.

This is what we started with. The strips here are 3 3/4 x 1/2, I ended up cutting mine down to 3 1/2, but you could use any size you find in your scraps. You could also use or mix in some cardstock strips.

The coffee cup accents on this card are die cut from the A Little Latte DSP using the Latte Love dies. The sentiment is from the Latte Love stamp set, but I inked it with a Stampin’ Write marker to only stamp hello rather than the whole sentiment. The wonderful gems are the new Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems.

For this card I stamped and die cut the coffee mug for my focal image.
