Crafting For A Good Cause

I make a lot of cards to donate to a couple of churches I attend, as well as the retreat centre where I host my Girls Get Away Weekends. The cards for the churches are sent to shut ins and people that could use a little smile from some snail mail.

I made a bunch of cards with the wonderful bright Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper. The bright colours and pretty patterns of this paper are a great way to brighten someone’s day.

I used a similar layout for all my cards. I love this layout for it’s simplicity, and the pretty outcomes!

I use a very generic sentiment on the front of my cards so they are suitable for anyone or any occasion. You can easily customize the inside message to fit the occasion.

If you love to craft and want to help a worthy cause, check with local churches or senior residences. They often love to receive donations of hand made cards.
