Translucent Florals
Stampin’ Up! has released some new Online Exclusive Designer Series Paper, and one of them coordinates with the Translucent Florals Bundle. It is sooooo very pretty I just had to play with it on Craft Spot this week.
This is one of those papers that you look at and go WOW, that is beautiful! I had to use some of it right away.
I decided to use wide strips of DSP with just a little overlapping interest element so I could show off lots of the pretty paper. I used Stampin’ Blends to colour on our cardstock vellum, then die cut the flower pieces to build into my interest elements.
I used the same layout for this card, but this time I stamped my branch on cardstock. I inked it up with Parakeet Party ink, then used a sponge dauber to add Pretty Peacock ink as a highlight.
I used this same technique with some of the flower images in the Translucent Florals stamp set, but didn’t end up using them on these cards. You can see them in my video.
This paper is so pretty, I will play with more of it again soon. Remember all the Online Exclusive products are only available online, and only while supplies last. Stock may or may not be replenished.
