Connie's Craft Along - A Fun Layout

Here is a fun layout that is a little different than my ‘standard’ straight layout. This on is a little crooked!!

Here is What We started With

We cut our Designer Series Paper on an angle. I forget to use this super simple technique, but it adds interest to your card with no extra work - bonus!

I stamped and die cut the flowers using the Textured Floral Bundle. The leaf sprigs are cut from the coordinating dies.

The DSP on both cards is from the Stargazing pack. Some of this DSP is very planet and star oriented, but lots of the pieces just have random patterns and shades when you cut them card size. If you don’t add star and planet elements, you would not know that this is the theme of the paper. I always try to look at my DSP not just from the intended theme, but also try to think outside the box to find other themes and uses for the various patterns.
