Cleaning Up & Creating In The Craft Studio

We all know that while we are crafting we can create quite the mess, but in some ways, that is part of the fun! There does come a time though where we need to sort through the Craftermath of creating and put some things away. Whenever I do that, I also gather all the bits and pieces of things I have created, that did not turn into cards for finished projects at the time, and try to finish off or use at least a few. Today I am sharing some of that.

I had shared the clear block ink spritzing technique a while ago, but didn’t use all the backgrounds I had made, they were still sitting on my table.

My cards today use the backgrounds I had and combine them with the Courage & Faith stamp set. I love this stamp set with it’s uplifting sentiments, and the pretty background is perfect for highlighting the message.

If you watched the video from my first post above, you know that the first card had more water spritzed on it, or for a more spotted look as in the card right above here, I used less spritzing. The great part about this technique is you can do it however you wish, and every background will be a little different, so all your cards will be totally unique and one of a kind.

This third card had more water spritzed on the block, making the colours blend together more.

This technique is easy and fun, and you can do it with any colour combination you like. Give it a try.
