Craft Spot - Grassy Grove

Grassy Grove is a wonderful stamp and die set that has beautiful nature images. It has carried over to the new catalogue which is great as you can still get it if you don’t already have it in your craft stash.

I made these cards a while ago, so the Designer Series Paper is no longer available, but what die cutting DSP is a great way to quickly and easily add various colours and textures to your cards.

You can use any DSP you like. A tip to keep in mind is that while you may see something in your full piece of DSP, it may appear very different when you only see snippets of the design in a die cut. Something that you didn’t think would work, may look terrific!

I love the deer die cuts in this set to create a picture of a forest scene. I used just die cuts for these cards, but there are great scenery images in the stamp set you could also to your cards to really step them up before you overlay the trees die cut.

As you can see I got on a bit of a roll making these! Lots of fun, and lots of great cards.
