Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah, or the Festival of Lights begins tonight so I wanted to share the joy with some Hanukkah cards that I made during Craft Spot this week.

I only know a little about Hanukkah, so I looked up a few fun facts.

One candle is lit every night for eight days to commemorate how long the Holy Temple stayed lit for rededication. 

Despite the fact that there was only enough oil to keep the candle burning for just one night, it miraculously illuminated the Temple for eight whole nights!

I hope my cards celebrate the miracle, and I wish you and your family a Happy Hanukkah.
