Connie's Craft Along - An Easy Layout

Here is an easy layout that is quick to put together and shows off our pretty Designer Series Paper.
These are the ingredients we started with.

I was excited to make a card with a vellum layer. I don’t use it often enough and love how it looks on a card. Here is how the first card turned out.

For the second card I embossed the vellum, but I didn’t like the look of it on the DSP, so I abandoned it and stuck with plain vellum! I think it would have shown better on darker DSP, so I will try that next time.

This DSP is from Winter Meadow and it is lovely. I loved Blueberry Bushel when it was an In Color, but haven’t used it much yet since it has returned. This DSP reminded me to pull it out and I will definitely use it more in the future. It is such a beautiful blue.
