Craft Spot - Using Scrap Designer Series Paper
If you have finished making your Christmas cards for this year, you likely have some scraps of DSP left over and are wondering what to do with them. Here are a couple of ideas.
Cut cardstock layers for small pieces, then choose a few to create a pretty card front. Add a sentiment and some embellishments and you have a quick and easy card. It shows off pretty paper, and uses small scraps. You can layer a bunch and then sit and play with them to see how you want to arrange them and make a whole bunch of cards.
For this card I die cut a tree in a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then you just glue your strips of DSP, any width to cover the back and voila! and really pretty card and you got to use up those little leftover strips.
You can also cover the tree that you cut out with strips of DSP for a reverse card front.
