A Surprise Fun Fold

At my last Craft Along we made a surprise fun fold card. Why a surprise? Well when I first saw this card shared by a fellow demonstrator I didn’t realize it was a fun fold. I love when cards have a hidden or unexpected little surprise.

When you first look at this card, it looks like a standard card, with some layers, coordinating Designer Series Paper, an interest element and a sentiment. And then this . . .

The front interest section of the card is a flap. The flap flips up to reveal the inside of the card. How fun is that?
There is still plenty of room to write your message, but it is a different fold and lots of fun.

Here is another version to celebrate Fall. I used the Gingham Cottage DSP for the background and the Metallic & Shimmer Specialty Paper for the front. The leaves are die cut using the Chic Dies, and the sentiment is cut with the Amazing Thanks Dies.

This card is made with Starry Sky, Snowflake Specialty Vellum and a Wonderful Snowflake embellished with a Clear Rhinestone.
