A Dash Of Christmas

It is still August, but it is never to early to start making Christmas cards. Especially if your cards use some shiny Designer Series Paper that you can only get until the end of the month. Sale-a-Bration will end on August 31, so make sure you grab some of the Silver & Gold 6 x 6 DSP before then to be ready for some fancy crafting.

This DSP can be used for any occasion, it is not specifically Christmas patterns, but the shine certainly does make it festive as the backdrop for my candy canes. I stamped and die cut these from the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle. The sentiment piece is a die from the bundle and the sentiment is from the stamp set. The ribbon used on both cards is from the Ribbon Combo Pack in the Sweetest Christmas Suite. There are Seasonal Sequins in this suite, but I used the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for my cards today.

This card shows off the gold paper and second pattern in the DSP pack. The tree is from the Christmas Lights stamp set.
