Happy Saturday and welcome to another FAB Stampers post. This week it’s Leonie’s turn! she’s made some sweet little cards for you using the On the Horizon Stamp Set.

I love to make quick and easy cards. I think sometimes we just need something quick and easy and while detailed and elaborate is nice there can be way too much going on.
The On the Horizon stamp set forms part of the New Horizons Suite. It’s a stunning suite and the papers are to die for!
For my projects today I’ve just used the Stamp Set and New Horizon’s 6×6 Designer Series Paper.
My card bases are 21cm x 10.5cm (8×4) and folded in half to give a 10.5cm square or 4×4 card. My first layer is 10cm x 10cm and the top layer is 9.7cm x 9.7cm. Layers in inches would be 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 and 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.
My first card using the New Horizon’s Designer Series Paper is super quick and easy.
After choosing which design to use I’ve just stamped the Trees, Birds and sentiment. Affixed the layers and popped on some Polished Dots embellishments and done!
I chose to do some Masking and Blending with the second card …
To create my background I took a piece of printer/copy paper and cut out a circle. The copy paper layer was laid over my piece of Basic White and I used my blending brushes to shade with So Saffron and Soft Succulent.
Once I’d finished my blending I removed the copy paper and stamp the Trees, Birds and Sentiment. I finished my card with a couple of the Polished Dots Embellishments.
