More Sponge Dauber Colouring

I have had so much fun recently, colouring with sponge daubers, so today I have some more to share with you.

My two cards today are basically the same, with the only difference being the width of the background strip.

I had a piece of Vellum on my work table that I had done the alcohol and Stampin’ Blends technique on, but I hadn’t made into a card. As I was cleaning up I decided to run the vellum through the Cut & Emboss machine in an embossing folder. I decided to use the new Hive 3D Embossing Folder. It gave the vellum an interesting texture, and made some of it more white than opaque. I decided to make it into a couple of cards, so stamped my image and sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp set, and coloured the flowers with sponge daubers.

This is a super easy and fun technique for adding some shading to your stamped line images. I’m loving it, and suggest you give it a try too.
