Vintage Tools

I love the Vintage Tools stamp set. It reminds me of all the tools my Dad used when I was a child, and all the happy memories of me watching him work on whatever project he had on the go.

Today I’m sharing two cards I made recently for MSH. He too is very handy as my Father was, and although he has a newer version of some of these tools, he loves to work with his hand tools and does beautiful work.

I used different images and colours to stamp a random background for this card, then stamped the plane with Early Espresso, and a sentiment in Garden Green. I added some Bushed Metallic Dots to finish it off.

The second card is similar, with lots of the tool images, but it is the forefront on this Birthday Card. Last weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving, but it is also my hubby’s birthday. This works out perfect since turkey is one of his favourite foods, so we have Birthday Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner!
