Welcome to the New In Colours
The new Annual Catalogue is out, and that means 5 new In Colours to play with. This year we have 5 pretty colours that coordinate with each other as well as our existing colour selections. So much fun!
One of the best things about crafting with Stampin’ Up! products is the fantastic colour coordination they offer. Paper, ink, jewels, ribbons, markers, Stampin’ Blends and more. The colours all match, making card making and paper crafting easy and fun.
Let’s take a closer look at each of the wonderful new In Colours.
This is Pale Papaya. I used the Hand Penned Petals stamp set for these cards. It is one of my early favs from the new stamp sets available. My sentiment is from another new stamp set, Days To Remember, a great stamp set for cards and scrap booking. I punched the sentiment and frame with the Double Oval punch. Each card is also embellished with the new In Colour Jewels. I love how a few gems can add such a great finishing touch to cards. I use them a lot, and I think I have some of all the gems offered in the catalogue!
This is Fresh Freesia. It is a gorgeous lilac colour, and perfect to use with the returning favourite Hydrangea Haven stamp set, as I did in this post.
Next up we have Polished Pink.
I will be honest, when I first saw this colour online I was not excited. It looked rather dark and bright, kind of Magenta Madness like, and I wasn’t excited about another bright pink. However once I saw it in ‘real life’ and started using it, I am surprised at how much I like it. It is a rich tone of medium pink, and not as ‘out there’ as Magenta Madness. We all have our own tastes, and I have come to really like this colour of pink.
There are 2 new green colours this year, and I fell in love with both of them the first time I saw them. This one is Soft Succulent. I’m not a colour expect, so you can correct me, but I would say there is a grey undertone to this green. Whatever it is, I think it is awesome and have used it a lot already.
The last new In Colour is Evening Evergreen, and I love this one as well. It is a rich dark green, almost a hunter green, and will be fantastic year round, but I’m excited to make Christmas cards with this one.
