CASE Cards
I am proud to say that I am a Canadian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I love to craft and I love the products. They are high quality, have fabulous colour coordination, lots of stamps, dies, papers, embellishments, tools, and more. Everything you need to create all sorts of beautiful projects. As a Canadian Demonstrator, I contribute to our Inspiration Canada Newsletter. This newsletter is sent to all Canadian Demonstrators and is filled with articles about crafting, business, tips, tricks, and lots more. The newsletter recently published it’s 100th issue. To celebrate, we looked back through some past issues, for a card to CASE - Copy And Selectively Edit, and the newsletter contributors each cased the card for the special issue. We have now asked Canadian Demonstrators to CASE our CASE and post it in our Canadian Demonstrator Facebook Group. We want over 100 CASED cards to celebrate!
Here is the original card we used to inspire our crafting.
This is a wonderful layout for a card, and the bonus of creating a Designer Series Paper frame is that you can easily make two cards with the one piece of DSP. One piece is used for the frame as I have in my first card.
I used the Ornate Garden DSP and the Brilliant Wings dies for this card. My background is Bumblebee cardstock that I embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. My sentiment is from Oval Occasions, and I used Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon and Gilded Gems to embellish my butterflies and sentiment.
The second card uses the cut out DSP from my frame to create a centre piece for my card.
I used stamped images of the butterflies, made with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and die cut with the Brilliant Wings dies. The rest of this card has the same elements as the first card, making it quick and easy to create.
I love making multiples of cards, and having them slightly different adds to the fun and creative process!
There are lots of great reasons to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, being part of a fun team of our Canadian group is just one of them.
