During my last Lunch Break on Facebook, we moved from making cards to making gift tags. Hopefully your Christmas cards are all made, so it is time for some other Christmas preparation.
You can make tags as fancy and elaborate as you like, but we focused on quick and easy, and most important - - using up those bits and pieces on your table that you thought would use for cards, but didn’t!
Gather some Basic White and Very Vanilla cardstock, cut 2 inches wide and various lengths. Get out some ribbon and embellishments, all your bits and pieces, or some die cuts and punches.
Now you are ready to put together a bunch of tags!
I used the Fancy Tag Topper and the Detailed Trio Punches to create the tops of my tags. From there I added tress punched with the Pine Tree Punch using Christmas Tidings DSP, Die Cuts from the Gingerbread Suite, and die cuts from the giving Gifts dies to create these tags.
Here are some more tags, using bits and pieces that I had gathered from my desk. The Snowman Season and Bright Baubles stamp sets both have a To & From stamp in them, perfect for making tags. The ‘To You & Your’ sentiment is also from Bright Baubles.
Once you gather your supplies, these tags come together very quickly, and they will add an extra special touch to you gift giving.
I may have found a few more bits and pieces on my desk, so may a few more tags!!
Here is the video if you want to see how the tags were made.
