Lovely You - Cut and Create

If you follow me, you know I love, love, love Designer Series Paper. Stampin’ Up! has so many pretty colours and papers, and many of the DSP pieces are beautiful beyond description.
All that said, I also love making my own Designer Series Paper, using stamps, ink and paper.

I used the Lovely You stamp set for my DSP, stamping in Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Mint Macaron, Just Jade, and Soft Sea Foam. These are some of my favourite colours, and I love how this turned out.
I was on a roll, and couldn’t stop, so I made another one!

For this piece I stamped in Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Magenta Madness, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Blackberry Bliss.
Now I was really on a roll, so one more!!

So Saffron, Bumblebee, Terracotta Tile, Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, and Early Espresso are the ink colours in this piece.
It was time to stop and make some cards.
I decided to use my Cut and Create layout. It is a simple layout that shows off DSP, with only a sentiment, and no other stamped images layered over the background.

These cards are all easy to make, but oh so pretty! All sentiments are from the Lovely You stamp set which has 11 different sentiment stamps. Some ribbon bows, and a few Clear Rhinestones embellish these cards and they are ready to send off to someone special.
