Forever Greenery - Part 2
Did you see the video I shared with some of the fantastic products in the Forever Greenery Suite? You can find it here if you missed it!
Today I have one of the tutorials for you, along with some pictures of cards and things from the suite.
These are all the wonderful colours found in the Designer Series Paper, and you will see how well they work together in my projects.
These are the embossing folders. They will work in either of our die cutting machines. The full size machine will be available in September, and the mini is expected before the end of the year. If you don’t have a die cutting machine yet, you will definitely want one on your wish list! It cuts and embosses so many wonderful images, shapes and words, it helps make beautiful cards in a snap.
Here are four of the cards I showed. In addition to the Forever Fern Bundle, I have used products previously available. I love how easy it is to combine new products with ones we already have in our stash! I have used Wink of Stella, Metallic Gold Pearls, and Basic Pearl Jewels to embellish my cards along with Gold Foil paper and Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
I promised tutorials for some of the projects, here is the first one. It is the glue holder box. If you don’t have one of these, you should take a few minutes and make one. They are perfect for holding your liquid glue so it is handy and always ready to go.
To make this, start with a piece of card stock that is 8 1/2 x 6 inches. Score on the long side at 2, 4, 6, and 8, and at 2 and 4 on the short side. Cut the edges as shown in the photo, and punch or die cut a circle for the glue bottle to sit in.
Use Tear & Tape, or a strong adhesive to assemble the box. These pictures show where I placed the Tear & Tape.
Before you assembe the box, add DSP pieces to the outside edge panels. Cut 4 pieces of DSP 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 for this. Assemble the box. I also painted Wink of Stella on the reinforcing circle for a little extra shine.
I hope you have enjoyed this and would love to have you leave a comment. Let me know which card is your favourite!
