Old Meets New

The new annual catalogue is live, and we are all excited to play with the new products, but today I wanted to share some love with some items that have carried over from last season. So old meets new, and that is one of the fantstic things about all the Stampin’ Up! products. There is continuity from one catalogue to the next, and old products blend beautifully with new products, giving us fresh and exciting creative opportunities.

I used the Mountain Air stamp set for my picture, and a sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia. Both these stamp sets were available in prior catalogues, but I did all my stamping with the new In Colour Misty Moonlight.
I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock and sponged ink all over, light for the sky, and darker for the water. I stamped the first trees full strength, and stamped off for the trees in the background.
My sentiment is cut with the new Tasteful Labels dies, and mounted on some of the new 1/4” 2020 - 2022 In Colour Ribbon in Misty Moonlight.
It framed in Misty Moonlight card stock, with a Thick Whisper White card base.

TIP: If you don’t want dark lines on the edges when you are sponging something, start with card stock slightly larger than you want, then trim the edges after you finish sponging.
