Fresh From The Garden

Is there anything prettier than a jar of flowers cut fresh from your garden? It’s summer and the flowers are blooming. Love it!!

I used the new Jar of Flowers stamp set forf this card. This set has 4 different flower bunches, the branches and jars to hold them! The jar stamps are reversible stamps so you can use both sides as I did in my card. I stamped the jar outline in full strength Balmy Blue ink, then reversed the stamp, and stamped the water using Balmy Blue ink again, but stamping off before I stamped my card to give a lighter image.

I layered the flowers on Cherry Cobbler, Flirty Flamingo and a Pear Pizzazz card base.

I coloured my flowers with my Stampin’ Blends. Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Cherry Cobbler for the flowers, Old Olive for the stems and Soft Seafoam for the greenery.
My simple sentiment is from the Forever Greenery stamp set, and I added some little Silver Metallic pearl embellishments to finish it off.
