Physical Distancing
I was chatting with my cousin the other day and she told me she is ‘physical distancing’, not ‘social distancing’. I really like the difference. Yes, we must remain physically seperate at this time to help flatten the curve of COVID-19, but with all the technology we have, and so many choices for connecting with people, we do not have to social distance. In fact, right now we should be reaching out, in a safe way, to as many other people as we can. These uncertain times put stress on us all, and hearing from a friend or family member can make a big difference in our day.
With some extra time on my hands I had been making cards to donate to my church in Markham. The Evangalism committee sends them to people to brighten their day, so I figured some extra cards right about now would come in handy. It’s a small thing, but as a crafter, it is something I can do. Each of us can do something, even just staying home helps others, and together we will get through these uncertain times.
Be safe and be well everyone.
