One Year Ago . . .

One year ago today was my wedding day. It has been a wonderful year filled with fun and adventure, and lots of love. Today I wanted to share the card I made for My Sweet Husband, (MSH) to celebrate our special day.

I have used the same colours that we had in our wedding, Blackberry Bliss and Highland Heather. The sentiment was used in a number of places in our wedding decor, it is one I love, and is from the Beautiful You stamp set. The flower image was cut with the Eclectic Layers dies which are now retired, but these too were a big part of our decor, so I used it again. The backdrop for the flower is from the new Painted Labels dies, cut in Silver Foil. The background is embossed with the Tufted embossing folder, and the card base is Thick Very Vanilla.
I did write a message on the inside of the card, but also included a stamp from one of our Demonstrator sets.

I know MSH will love the card as we remember our very special day, and celebrate our first anniversary.
