Using It All
As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I get to hang out with some pretty awesome people. One of the demonstrator groups I belong to shares creative ideas as well as business tips, and we like to challenge each other in our crafting.
Recently we challenged each other to go to one of our ‘regular’ stamp sets or framlits and use something from it that we would not normally reach for. This is a great way to find some new favourite stamps and dies, or perhaps a new creative way to use things. It also means you maximize the value of the products you already own! You should give it a try.
I had been using the Humming Along stamp set and Hummingbird Framelits earlier that day, so I decided to use one of the Framelits that I would normally pass by. You can see it in the top left corner of this card. I thought it made an interesting back drop, but wasn’t sure what to put with it. I decided to cut some trees from the In The Woods Framelits as their style seemed to coordinate with the backdrop I had cut. The sentiment is from the Winter Woods stamp set, I just masked off the part I didn’t want. Leave a comment below and let me know what you think.
