Spring Has Arrived
That’s right, it’s spring . . . well at least on the calendar!! This is the time of year where we do get some lovely sunshine and warmer days, letting us know we are past most of the winter, and warmer days are coming. Where I live we will still get some more snow, but I do love those warmer days we are treated to. My card today has a real spring feel to it with butterflies and flowers.
This card is really easy to make, I just cut some flowers with one of the thinlits from Seasonal Layers, and punched the butterfly with the Butterfly Duet punch. I used a piece of DSP from the Garden Impressions 6 x 6 paper because it has beautiful bright spring colours. My sentiment is from the Wonderful Romance stamp set, stamped in Night of Navy on Mango Melody card stock. I cut it out with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and mounted it with Dimensionals. I added a clear Rhinestone to my butterfly, and the centre of each flower. Happy Spring everyone!
