Christmas Over The Years Part 2

Today I have part 2 in my series of Christmas Over The Years. Projects that we have made over the years, some newer, and some from several years ago. I hope you enjoy this look back and recognize some of these.

Today I have some tree ornaments, along with some 3D projects. The item on the very left is a Gift Card gift bag. I have made these for a number of years, but this version was made from products in this years Holiday Catalogue. You can see my full post and tutorial for this here.
The item on the far right is a lip balm purse. When you open the purse, there is a lip balm tucked in side. I have made these for a number of years as well, they are always popular at craft sales.

Remember when these folded circles were popular? You start with a stip of Designer Series paper, and accordian fold it every 1/4 inch. The you glue the ends together, and flatten it into a circle. A hot glue gun works really well when you are making these! This particular one was going to be a gift tag, but was so pretty I decided just to use it as a tree ornament!

Here is another one from years ago. This ornament was featured on the cover of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue one year, and we all wanted to make one! There was a decoration stamp set and coordinating dies that we used. Lots of stamping and cutting for this one, but the end result was beautiful. I have made many variations of this decoration over the years.

Here is another ornament that I made a lot of, and in many colours. You start with clear ornaments and run reinker in your favourite colour all around the inside. While it is still wet, you pour in Dazzlin Diamonds glitter and shake. It coats the inside to give you sparkle everywhere. The fun bonus with this one was that after you poured out the excess glitter, you had coloured glitter to use on other projects. Such fun!
