One More Treat
The Christmas season is filled with sweet treats, and today I have another treat holder for you. This one will hold a box of Smarties, or a chocolate bar, and you can also put in a gift card if you like. We made these for teachers at a recent class, and everyone loved them!
This one is made with Real Red card stock. Start with a piece that is 8 x 6 1/4.
On the 8” side, score at 3, 3 3/4, 6 3/4, 7 1/2
On the 6 1/4” side, score at 5 1/2
Cut a piece of DSP 2 3/4 x 4 1/4, along with a sentiment and any other decorations you want to add.
Punch holes in the front and back with the 1/2 inch circle punch.
We used 16 inches of ribbon, and 8 inces of twine. The ribbon goes inside the box, and through the two holes to the outside at the top.
When you pull up on the ribbon . . . .
You find a sweet treat inside!!!!
Remember to always use a strong adhesive for 3D projects such as Tear & Tape or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
These make great little gifts for teachers, the hair dresser, the person that does your nails, your server, or anyone you want to share a little treat with.
