Deck The Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly. And maybe decorate a card with holly while you are at it!! I love the holly image in the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. Actually I love the whole stamp set, and when you combine it with the coordinating dies and the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper, it is a real winner. My card for today only uses the stamp set, but trust me, you can make lots of gorgeous cards and 3D projects with these items. I have posted some recently, but if you missed a them, you can see a couple here and here. Here is my card for today.

I used two of the decoration stamps to stamp a background with Real Red and Shaded Spruce ink. I coloured the holly with Light and Dark Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends, and fussy cut it out so I could pop it up on my card. (Yes, I fussy cut!!) The sentiment and frame are cut with the Stitched Shapes dies, and I layered it on a piece of Copper Foil.
