It's Your Time To Shine

It’s Your Time to Shine. What a great sentiment that is to celebrate an achievement and provide encouragement to someone. It is easy to do when you make a pretty card and use simple stamping.

This card is easy to make, but sends a huge message to someone special. (and aren’t we all?) I used stamps from the Daisy Lane stamp set to create this pretty card. My leaves are stamped with Soft Seafoam ink, and my daisies are Terracotta Tile. I love making backgrounds with different stamps and ink, it is so easy. Just pick a couple stamps you like, some coordinating ink colours, and stamp away. There really is no right or wrong way to do it. I used 2 In Colour Faceted Dots to make my sentiment really pop.
Here are the measurements for my card.
Card Base - Soft Seafoam card stock, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
So Saffron card stock, 5 1/4 x 4
Sentiment strip - Soft Seafoam, 3 1/4 x 1/2
I used Dimensionals to pop my sentiment strip up a bit.
