Craft For A Cause

Last week I hosted our first Craft For A Cause fundraising event, and it was so much fun!

Everyone purchased a kit to work on, which gave them everything they needed to craft for the evening, along with allowing me to make a donation to Westside Lutheran Church. We gathered at the church and spent a wonderful evening crafting and visiting. It was so much fun, we all had a great time.

As much as I love spending time with friends and crafting, I love to spoil people that attend my events, so I made little thank you gifts for everyone that came. This sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set is perfect my thanks you gift. Everyone that attended was helping us raise funds to support our church’s mission, and it my hope that the good they did by participating will be returned to them. My sprigs are from the Layered Leaves stamp set and Bough punch.

Here ae a bunch of them together, all ready to go! It was a wonderful evening and we are all looking forward to our next event in July. Make sure you have subscribed to my mailing list so you get all the info and can join us for our next great event.

By the way, I will do my best to remember to actually take some photos at our next event. I had my camera there all evening, and forgot to get it out. :-(
