Stack, Slice and Shuffle

At Connie’s Craft Along this week (Thursday at 7:00 pm ET on my Great Stamping With Connie Facebook page) we made three great cards using the Stack, Slick and Shuffle Technique. This is an easy and fun way to create multiples of cards that are all different, but still quick to complete.

I show how I cut my papers in the video, but there really is not right or wrong way, you just want to end up with three sections. Hold your paper firmly as you cut them so they stay stacked and all pieces are cut the same.

You can mount your sentiment anywhere you like, and embellish however you decide. If you watched the video you saw how I was debating ribbon. I thought it needed a little extra something, but couldn’t figure out what or where. I switched to some different ribbon and it all came together!

I ended up using bows and gems on the cards and I really like how they turned out. For me, the card is plain enough that it will support both bows and bling!

You can use this technique with any Designer Series Paper you like for any season. Watch for my Christmas version next week!
