Bay Window Fun Fold

Welcome to today’s FAB Stampers post. I am sharing an easy to create, but wonderful fun fold, the Bay Window Fun Fold.

From Connie’s Craft Studio

Today I have a fun fold that is easy to create, but packs a big punch in the beauty department. One of the best feature of this card is that you can stand it up on display. I used the Calming Camellia stamp for both cards, but changed the colours, die cuts and Designer Series Paper.

To make the Bay Window, you score the front of your card base. I started with a piece of card stock that is 11 x 4 1/4, and scored at 5 1/2, 7 and 9 1/2 inches. This creates 3 panels to decorate with images and Designer Series Paper.

Some Details

I used Just Jade and Mint Macaron for this card. The centre image, sentiment and inside piece are cut with the Seasonal Labels Dies that carried over from the Fall Mini Catalogue.

This card uses Smoky Slate and Basic Grey. The dies are Stitched So Sweetly, and I used the Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper for the side panels. The flowers are coloured with Craft White Ink and a Blender Pen.

The Inside Story

I used a small narrow die cut for the inside of my card, stamped with the swirl from the Calming Camellia stamp set to add just a little interest. When you adhere this inside piece you want to use Dimensionals. That way the card front ‘bay window’ piece can be secured under this piece so it stands nicely on display.
