BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.

I had the best weekend I have had in quite some time! Saturday was World Card Making Day (WCMD) and we celebrated with a number of Facebook Live sessions. You can see them all on my Great Stamping With Connie FB page. Some great tutorials, techniques and crafting.
Now that WCMD is over, it’s time to SEND those cards. This is World Card Sending Week, so let’s all brighten someone’s day by sending a handmade card.
Here are the projects we made on Saturday.

We started the day with a sketch. This is an easy layout to get you started with some creative crafting. The beauty of a sketch is that it is a suggested starting point. How you interpret the sketch is up to you!

In our second session we did some Mystery Crafting and made these cute card/gift card holders.

Next up was a demonstration of the Marbles Technique. What a fun technique to make interesting backgrounds!

In the last demonstration I showed the Double Pocket Fun Fold card. I shared a written tutorial of this in a recent blog post, but you can see me make it on video on my FB page.
It was an awesome day, but only the first day of the BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.

On Sunday, a friend of mine hosted an In-person Workshop. The first one I have done in 2 years!! Crafting together on Zoom or Facebook live is great, but it was so wonderful to craft with others in person! Everyone was double vaxxed (new 2021 word we use all the time now!), we set up more tables so we could spread out, cleaned and sanitized as we went, so everyone felt safe being together. It was a little different process from before Covid, but it worked and it was FANTASTIC.

This is just one of the cards we made at our awesome afternoon.

Two great crafting days back to back. All I can say is;
