Forever Greenery - Fun Fold Tutorial

If you know me, you know I love Designer Series Paper. It is so easy to work with. You can do all sorts of things with it, not just cards. If you are making a card, you can use DSP as your focal point for a super quick and easy card, or you can do something a bit more fancy.
Today I have the last card from my Forever Greenery video and it is a fun fold. Keep reading to learn how to make this pretty card that gives you lots of places to show some beautiful DSP!

This card looks like a regular card on the front. I used Magenta Madness for my card base, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. The Pear Pizzazz frame is 5 x 3 3/4, and the Forever Greenery DSP is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2. The sentiment is from By The Dock, stamped in Pear Pizzazz, and cut with the Layering Circles Dies along with the Magenta Madness border. I cut the leaf branch with the Forever Flourishing Dies, using Pear Pizzazz card stock. If you purchase the stamp set and dies, you can bundle the purchase and save 10%!
The trim on the front is the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, and I used both the Vanilla and Gold. The Vanilla Trim in this pack is divine!! It is so soft and easy to work with. You will love it.

When you open the card, you find a fun fold pop out.

The inside panels give you two more sides to show off more of the DSP. The measurements for the two big pieces is the same as on the front of the card.
You will also need to cut a strip of card stock to create your pop out. I used Pear Pizzazz, 8 1/2 x 1 1/2, scored at 2 1/8, 4 1/4, and 6 3/8 and then zig zag folded with the mountain in the middle.
The Magenta Madness frames for each pop out piece are 2 3/4 x 2, you will need 4. The Whisper White pieces for stamping and signing are 2 5/8 x 1 7/8. I used the Forever Fern stamp set for these, stamping the leaves in Shaded Spruce with Pear Pizzazz accent dots.
To assemble, glue your 8 1/2 x 1 1/2 strip on each end of the card. Add a panel to each fold.

I hope you will give this card a try. It is not difficult to make, but has a fun surprise when you open it!
