Happy Birthday With Simple Stamping
It is almost the end of March already, and although every day seems to bring a weeks worth of changes around the world, time is actually passing quickly. The March #simplestamping challenge is to create a birthday card using stamps, ink and paper, including Designer Series Paper, so I wanted to share this with you before the month runs out!!
I reached for the gorgeous Perennial Essence DSP because I wanted the main focus to be some beautiful paper. This DSP has so many wonderful flower images, it can be hard to choose, but I also really love blue and purple together, so this one it was.
I cut my DSP 4 x 4 1/2 inches, then placed opposite corners at the 1 inch marks on my trimmer to cut the diagonal.
I stamped my sentiment from the Happy Birthday to You Sale-a-Bration stamp ser, with Blackberry Bliss ink on Balmy Blue card stock, and fussy cut around the letters. I mounted it on a 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 inch piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock. My card base is Balmy Blue.
This card is super simple to make, but sends a beautiful Birthday wish.
Why not pull out some stamps, ink and paper and create your own #simplestamping card today.
